Wicati boutique is the creation of Eve Newhart. Eve is a Nephrologist/Internist in Los Angeles who never dreamed of starting her own business. It was only after having three children--WIlliam, CAroline, TImothy (hence the name 'Wicati')--that the seed took root. Feeling unable to give medicine it's due with three little one's, Eve considered other ways to nurture those in similar circumstances. She had never shopped prior to children but found, after kids, that a comfortable store with a helpful staff and beautiful clothing, provided a wonderful outlet for a combination of some much needed pampering and self-expression. In addition to wanting to expose women to a multitude of amazing new and old designers, another of "Wicati's" missions is to support women in business, both through partnerships in advertising and through the "Salon" lecture series; which often highlights women who have opted to find personal and financial fulfillment through small business ventures.
